Invisalign® is the modern alternative to orthodontic braces without the obvious metal wires and brackets bonded to your teeth.

Generally Invisalign® is designed to straighten out the teeth into an optimized smile and bite. Many cases that Invisalign® treats include overbites, underbites, crossbites, open bites, gapped teeth, overcrowded teeth, or often just a better overall smile. Unlike braces, Invisalign® uses a set of trays or aligners that is customized to each patient to move their teeth.

Invisalign® begins with a consultation to go over the entire process and includes a series of pictures and impressions of your smile, bite, and teeth.
This information is sent to the lab for a personalized treatment plan that will be presented to you with full visualizations of the treatment progression.
The customized set of aligners are then fabricated and delivered.

Invisalign® requires strong dedication and commitment to the treatment plan. Once the first set of aligners are delivered, you will be wearing them for 22 out of the 24 hours in your day, only removing them to eat, drink, brush, and floss. Each aligner is worn for about 2 weeks and switched out with the next set in the series to move your teeth little by little until they reach their final position.

The total treatment time and number of aligners in a set varies for each patient according to his or her smile and bite. The average length of time is about 9-15 months with about 18-30 aligners.
